This winter in the US/Canada has been just a wild and crazy as last year, if less destructive in a dramatic disaster kinda way. Instead of huge storms coming in we’ve had arctic blasts that last for days and weeks and move deeply south into areas that aren’t prepared for it. Even here in the temperate NW we’ve had snow. We had a storm that came in a lasted for around five days. Luckily we usually get a heads up way in advance, we seem to have become prepared and less traumatized by the idea since we’ve seen what happened in Atlanta so we just calmly got our supplies and hunkered down, while the kids went out and had a blast.
And that’s the thing. If we’re going to be teaching our children about how to interact in a spiritual and interconnected universe, we might want to first make sure that the situations we are putting them into guide their ability to manifest in a direction we want things to go. Because hundreds of thousands of kids wanting to escape school via snow days is having a huge effect on weather globally and they don’t realize that it affects economics and such. Of course they don’t care either which is also a problem. So before we enlighten them, let’s get the situation set up so they manifest the appropriate priorities items. I mean, what a power for transformation if they were manifesting organic foods, sustainable energy, and 2 story bouncy houses for us to live in! The world could be a healthy and fun place!
Oh well. Until then I’ll just have to put up with what they do manifest for us. To keep things in balance I did go out and help a young man roll a 3′ diameter snow ball through my yard and the neighbors. It was almost as big as him and he was having difficulties getting it up over the curb. When I asked him if it was for a snowman he said “Nope. It’s just because.” As it should be, young man, as it should be.
