People have been asking how things are going with the Kabbalah studies. Well, they are going. I’m learning a lot. And there is still a HUGE amount of reading yet to do. Just so you get an idea, here’s the books I have awaiting my attention. The stack in front is all Kabbalah with the two books I’m into at the moment, Sefer Yetzirah: The Book of Creation
and The Zohar: Pritzker Edition, Vol. 1 at the top. These are two of the main three source writings for the Kabbalah and are fascinating, but definitely not a light read. In the middle stack is quite a bit of additional Kabbalah texts including the brown book on the top with is Sepher Rezial Hemelach: The Book of the Angel Rezial, one of the earliest Kabbalah texts. And on the left are other books that I will be reading for my Akashic studies including The Rig Veda (Penguin Classics), The Atharvaveda (Forgotten Books), and The Upanishads (Classic of Indian Spirituality). I have read the Upanishads before, but I have a much deeper understanding of their context now so I’m thinking I’ll get different things from them this time.
So have a great weekend and I’m going to go enjoy this surprising sunshine we’re getting today while I read some more….
